Proud of my students’ creative work in my second year instructing at Anne Arundel County Public Schools CAT-South’s Gaming and Simulation Program.

Academic highlights for 2023-24 were my Level 2 student, Calvin Musser, being awarded CAT South’s Student of the Year and four of my students competing at Maryland’s SkillsUSA with Charlie Birdsall bringing home the Bronze! (Official SkillsUSA Awards)

CAT South Award Ceremony. My student, Calvin Musser, receiving Student of the Year plaque from Principal Mrs. Bauer. Our CTE school was honored with having AACPS Superintendent Mark Bedell in attendance.

Being a creative professional, I emphasize the development of a solid portfolio that will help with college scholarships and career goals. Besides working in Unity to develop 2D Platformer-style games, we focus on digital graphics skills, world & character building and branding know-how. If this sounds like something you or your child would be interested in, then contact your AACPS councilor to learn more about the Gaming program offered at CAT South.

Looking forward to the 2024-25 School year with establishing an internship program for my senior students and improving the student glide path into AACC’s Game Development Program.
