2010 Eastport Yacht Club Lights Parade illustration
Below is the sketch of the illustration I proposed to the Eastport Yacht Club. The concepts is based on the famous “The New Yorker” poster.
You'll see that the final illustration (below) changed quite a bit from the original sketch. After spending time walking around Annapolis and Eastport, and serving as a judge for the 2009 Light Parade, I realized that having the perspective from the opposite side of the Spa Creek draw bridge would be more dramatic.
